Vegan Restaurants/Chinese Banquet II

What's the word on the street for good vegan restaurants in Boston? Bunches and I are double-dating with a vegan couple on Friday and as the foodie, I want to be able to supply a full range of choices.

On an unrelated note, tonight I'm once again going to Chef Chow's in Brookline for a three-course banquet-style meal. Refer to my previous post for more details

My vegan friends rave about Grasshopper in Allston. Indian is always a good option, though you may need to ask the server if any dairy like ghee is contained. In general, if you go to restaurants that specialize in regions other than the North, you’re fine. I really love Royal Bengal in Cambridge.

Definately go with Grasshopper in Allston if they are vegans who appreciate simulated meat!
